It's the end of February, yet I still see "This interview isn't final", when trying to enter my data. Really? The 2024 tax laws aren't changing - they haven't changed since last year. Why is the program STILL being updated? Ridiculous.

Went through the whole 1040 tax app, completed state with federal and submitted. The IRS rejected twice with little or no explanations other then "check entries" after H&R's 100% accuracy review. Will have a pro look at it. Do not waste money on H&R.

I have used H&R Block software for years and getting returns done swiftly as soon as I have received all my input data. After submitting my return to the IRS electronically it normal take about a week or ten days to get my federal and state return deposited in my account. I give it 4 stars in that I would think that the advertised program price should include the state return done electronically.

I am retired, on a police pension, and my wife draws a small state employee's pension. I draw a small SS pension and my wife a larger one. Neither of us understands the technical language used in tax preparation and we both fear claiming something we're not entitled to, or failing to claim what we're owed. The 'what is this' feature doesn't always help.
