Our family inherited some stocks, and we were concerned about the Capital Gains, as well as the complexity of inputting the individual stocks. Due to H & R Block being able to connect to Edward Jones, the input issue was not an issue.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have used Tax Cut for years. Easy to use, easy to create a 1040x when needed. I wish we had the shoebox back though.

2 problem in this software. I enter Sch K1, it does not generate form 7203(basis). I want to pull out the form and manual enter the number. it does not even have this form to pull. same problem on K1, ,my box 1 is negative , but my box 2 has big positive number, it has problem on box 11 (section 179) to enter, it should populate on Schedule E (p.2)column i. . I have to manual move the number to schedule E(p.2) column g. In order to get rid of error for e-filing. The final number is correct. but the place in Schedule E is incorrect

Cons: Time consuming
