I have been using H&R Block software for like 10 years and very happy with the product.
However, the software makes you go through the deduction process even though the standard deduction is much greater and in the end you get the standard deduction which you knew was going to happen in the first place. I wish there was a way to by pass the this deduction process and just jump to the standard deduction. It would save a lot of entry time.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

Kansas State tax software has an obvious bug when selecting whether to use the standard deduction or to use itemized deductions from KS schedule A.
Always getting review not complete error when entering Social Security benefits.

I've used hr block for many years and am 99% happy with it. The only problem I have ever had is, i am just an ordinary blue collar worker and sometimes your questions seem to need answering by someone who knows their way around regarding the tax codes. Please write your questions so an average joe like me can feel better about how we answer.
