I have been using H&R Block software for the past 6 years. Last year it did not handle some of the forms properly, so I had to use a tax specialist. This year it appeared to handle everything correctly, except when I printed the voucher for my state taxes, the software said I owed money, but the voucher claimed that I owed $0. There is a bug in the state tax software.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Technical aspects of the product are extremely good but hate the costs you charge on e-filing. It is a rip-off and greatly increases the yearly costs of filing the family returns including the kids and grandkids who make virtually nothing.
