Occasionally there is a hitch. For 2024 it would not allow entry of my state code in the 1099-R, even though the Accuracy Review flagged the blank state code as an error. What to do?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used TaxCut for years. I transitioned to the free creditKarma software and then migrated to cash app. Last year I bought a Tesla, installed solar panels and power walls. The free software seemed off and I broke down and bought your deluxe package. Had a homecoming feeling. Smooth software that did the job and left me feeling confident that I had met the reporting obligations and maximized the deductions and credits.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Software is great. The only reason not giving a five star rating is I believe that discounts should be given to repeating customers. I find cheaper prices on 3rd party websites.
