I like the program and have been using it for years, but the only issue I have is that I file in mid February and updates never seem to take place until after I file? Always wondering if I am getting the maximum return…

The program is fine but I never was able to E File because it kept sending it back because the TIN numbers didn't match. Well, I never got a TIN number from the IRS this year. I did last year and the year before but have not been able to get one this year. I never told the program I did under Misc. I tried multiple times with the other numbers but it kept refusing. Won't use you next year.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

bought this years ago and every year since... program maintains data from one page to another...reduces self-induced errors. filing is fast because of accurate data transfer, automatic lookups (your agi etc), e-filing..

Have used the HRBlock tax program for a number of years and am very satisfied with it. My only complaint is that once having reached finished with the return it is very hard to go back and add something missed at first or change an incorrect value that has been subsequently discovered.
