This my goto software for me and family. I have used since it was called taxcut. Best value. Please continue the download desktop version as this is preferable.

Program worked well for the second year in a row. My return is fairly simple but I do have some 1099-Rs, DIVs and INTs. I went through it line by line about 5 times and finally figured it out. Both federal return and NJ state return were accepted, the NJ return taking a little over a day, the federal return within a couple of hours.
A plus that the program can use the information from the previous year's program and can go directly to some financial sites (for instance Vanguard) to obtain the numbers.
Some instructions were not entirely clear, which is to be expected. But you should work hard to make the program easy to understand and require as few clicks as possible. Give more detailed information in the Help boxes.

I’ve always used HRB and greatly satisfied. However this year I needed Form 704 for gift tax and you did not include it leaving me high & dry having to find it and completing it myself without HRB help at all. Very Poor to not include such a common needed form and having no assistance
