Overall the product does its job but does not provide enough space to enter data…for example I made monthly advance social security tax payments but there were space for six months…unacceptable

I have used this software since 1998. It is a little clumsy, and the UI is not ideal, but once you figure it out it works well year after year. The price is very reasonable when on sale. Don't expect it to give you tax advice or explain the entries on all the forms as the help is pretty useless. If you understand the data you receive on all your 1099's and W2s etc., and where/how to enter the figures, then it does the math well, especially when you later discover you made a mistake and the changes cascade down the form and across other forms. The e-filing works well, but you have to pay to e-file the state form. I wish it allowed both bond premiums and bond accrued interest in a single entry.

Been using this software for over a decade and it usually makes doing my taxes very easy. Every once in a while, I get to something new and instead of telling me what to do, it tells me to read the official IRS Documents. But I bought this software so I would not have to do that, so those are the only two times I've felt slightly disappointed with this product. But even after that, I would highly recommend this product.
