I switched from TurboTax to HRB because TurboTax was way too expensive. For the most part, it is just as good with the exception of the stock interview. TurboTax is much clearer and simplified than HRB. But for the money I will stay with HRB.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

The moment the 2025 software was available, transferred data from previous year(s) and when IRS began accepting returns I filed. Received tax rebate in 9 days. I don't recall anytime faster or concise. H & R will always be my tax service.
