I’ve used this software for 15 years or so now. Easy to use. The only issue I had doing my 2024 taxes was entering the IRS IP Pin Code. I had applied for this last year sometime but did not realize that the IRS changes it every year, sometime early in the year. I had to hunt find where the IP PIN code is entered after I went back on to the IRS website via ID.me to obtain the new code. Using the code that I had from last year just gets an electronic return rejected.

For some reason my Deluxe H&R Block Federal and State software works fairly well through the information and computation process for the Federal 1040, even does an OK job with my Nebraska return, and I was more pleased that it went a bit smoother than last year. However, then when attempting to make paper copies of the returns for my files, the process balks down and prints partial pages, stops after a page or two, then doubles up on printed pages when trying to reprint. This year I blew through my ink cartridge by all of the unnecessary printing. It would be nice to be able to go back and just print a single missing or partial form, instead of them being offered in clumps.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
