I have multiple 1099s and every time I would enter information on a subsequent 1099, the name of the first 1099 would change. That doesn't give me much confidence that the underlying data was not corrupted.

I have been using H&R Block tax software for many years. Our taxes tend to be complex involving foreign investments and partnerships among other things. The tax software was always able to handle it.
For the first time this year it had a problem with forms 1116, foreign tax credit. The same entries showed up on more than one form. I only noticed the problem when I printed off the tax return, it wasn't apparent within the program. It took me a considerable amount of time to straighten things out so I could file the return.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used this software for several years now. Something I would like to see would be a "calculate now" button, or some way to force a recalculation based on current data entered. Often time I enter data that will change what I owe, but it is not recalculated until later. I do not know how or when it will recalculate, and this is frustrating.
