I would like more imports. My 2 pensions from Prudential and NJ pension required typing. I am 80. Reading the IRS bulletin was very helpful. Confusing question in NJ return. Itt was trying to determine if the pensionss were income on not. Nice to now include the get my refund link. I did this separately in the past.

Like the tax interview that leads you step by step thru the process of tax return preparation. An error check is helpful too as you finalize your return for e-filing or printing to mail. In WI, have to mail homestead credit return.

I like the product. I've been using it for several years now, and that I know what to expect, so that it's relatively easy to use. My taxes are moderately complicated, so that I could never do it all by hand. I like that I can proceed in an orderly way in the conversational mode. But I'm not an orderly person, so that I like to be able to hop around, filling in the gaps later when I'm not ready for a question. I like that I can go off and look at the forms and worksheets that are produced, assuring myself that the stuff I entered went to the right places. I like how it moves stuff automatically from the federal to the state preparation, and that it allows me to import stuff from the previous year and from financial institutions. I wish it had a real BACK button that allowed me to hop around and always get back to the place I was last, as opposed to just going Back in the conversational mode. And I've never had trouble with my taxes once they were filed. I'm sure that I'll keep using it in the future.
