Bad - invalidates state option giving no reason.

Used HRB for years. This year was terrible. Fixed a typo on a birthdate and it invalidated my GA filing. It just wouldn't file. I had to figure out on my own that it wanted me to buy another copy of the GA option. I lost several days of time. (1) It should not invalidate my GA because of fixing a typo. (2) It ought to tell why the GA option died and not make me waste days figuring it out. Bad programming.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This year the HR Block tax software kept giving me a “cannot connect to internet” response, even though I was verifiably connected. As a result, I was not sure if I, in fact, received any available updates while using the software. Other than that, it worked perfectly fine, as before.
