1) I could not trace one of my income sources as the traceback information was not there. It was an odd field - form 8995A line 28 and the field would not do the "jump to related" function.
2) I could not file my Michigan taxes as the program would not accept my Michigan tax payment done 1/5/2026 as it was outside the calendar year even though the Michigan window for tax payments is through 1/15/2026.

Very disappointed in the software this year. There was clearly a glitch in the software, so my federal return was rejected. The software said my spouse had a traditional IRA, when he has a Roth IRA, and the amounts weren’t correct. Which they were. The IRS rejected my federal return, and State put my return on hold until my Federal Return was accepted. So after working 11 hours with patients, I was running around at 9 PM to get my federal return mailed out on time. Not. Happy.

I had a number of disappointing problems with your tax software this year. Occasionally, I could not open item list with the right click. It would even paste things from my clipboard when I was trying with a right click to open an item list. Also, I filled out my schedule C businesses, but had to delete one and it badly damaged another one that had been completed. I had to go back through and clean up the mess. I’ve used H&R Block software for probably 25 years or more. It had better be better next year.
