Great product for simple taxes. I use it to do mine and my two daughters taxes. We always compare doing a manual form and using the program. And both are comparable in results but the program is so much easier.

Down loading 1099B from financial institution

I have used H&R Block software for many years and have been very pleased. I had the occasion to get a 1099B form for the first time. It was not clear to me how to download the 1099B data from my financial institution to my existing H&R software.

Pretty good for all but the more complex returns. I was required to complete an amended return, due to receiving a very late 1099 well after I filed my first return electronically. I was able to complete an amended return on the program, but the program interview process fell short a bit. It would have been great to have been able to talk to or chat live to someone about this situation. I was able to call an experienced tax preparer whom I knew personally. She gave me some very helpful advice for filing the amended return that the program did not give.
