The program is generally easy to use. I have used it for several years and appreciate the ability to import info from previous years. There are a few problems. I am visually impaired and not all screens respond to my screen reader with speech. I can magnify them, but would prefer if all was accessible to speech. This year I had a new problem with the first year of an RMD from my IRA. I could not figure out from the software how to deal with this especially as I wanted to treat it as a QCD. There were terms such as "access accumulations: that were not well explained.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the overall flow of the product, but I always have trouble finding where to enter my state estimated taxes paid in the federal section. I also use the product to plan my next year's taxes by entering new expected income, so it would be nice if, after making a copy of last year's 2024 taxes, there was an updateable switch in the software where I could change the year on the copy to 2025 and have the software reflect 2025 current expected standard deductions, tax levels, etc. I believe this ability would be a great selling selling point for your software as I'm sure lots of people use it to also plan the coming year as I do!

I've used Tax Cut since the day it came out, which was a long time ago. It's super easy to use for most things and easy enough for others (K-1s). Filing is easy. My returns were accepted within an hour of being submitted. One small change I'd like is for the IP number(s) to be more obvious to enter - everyone should use IP numbers.
