Overall happy with the product but still have an issue. AZ state allows same year credit against tax due $ for $ for contribution to qualifying charity. But can that contribution be treated as a deduction against next year’s Federal return? The software is horrible at explaining this. Horrible.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

One item missing is the actual calculation of Federal taxes owed. How much you owe by tax bracket would be a very good tool. You could see the amount you owed by the tax percent.

Verified Purchase:Yes
Software negelcted to inform of the necessity for an IRS FORM 56 'Authority for Fiduciary' - Decedent. This particular Return did not go via E-file (probably due to lack of Form 56). This necessitated mailing the Return. The Return has subsequently been Lost, Destroyed or Stolen by the USPS. This necessitated yet another Return sent via Next Day. Suffice to say, I have saved ZERO time and time is all there is.

I used your product for years with very good results.This year I had a problem with the Vermont return. I filed electronically. On form HS-122 Line B7 I reported 100%. The State sent me an adjustment notice claiming I reported 1%. They adjusted the error thankfully. I checked my printed return copy and in fact I had recorded 100%. No harm done but this could have cost me significantly if the State had not corrected it.
