I used H&R soft ware just about every year and I like it. The two years I did not there was out of state land transfers (very complex! Plan on using it again.

I have used this product successfully for many years. Two minor issues:
1. On the MN state return inclusion of renters credit was new this year. The software did not fully query through the CRP form, had to enter in whole form, had return rejected, was confusing to identify what was missing. Also asked for a field not on CRP - number of units at this location (not relevant to taxes).
2. The estimated tax payments section could be greatly improved. Suggest an option to enter\print payment stubs with amounts determined by user. I do this on a spreadsheet, not with your software. Should also allow entry\printing of 1 to 4 payment stubs with user determined amounts.

Have been using H&R Block for the past several years. Switched from Turbo Tax. Have never had a problem until this year. My 2024 software does not recognize the 2023 files. Thats one of the mains reasons to use software! Without this feature the 2024 software pretty much sucks!
Cons: Hard to import documents
