Bought 2024 Tax software, my third annual purchase. One suggestion: The "edit" and "delete" selections are adjacent. One can, by accident, select the delete option, and all is lost. I suggest a follow-up question to the delete; "Are you sure you want to delete this?" before actual deleting. This is common on lots of software!

I used the H&R Tax Software just like I have for many years and was satisfied with the product again but I received a notice from the IRS that they had questions regarding my tax filing. I went to check the forms I had submitted and noticed a glitch in the printouts. While the software correctly figured my long term capital gains and losses it printed out as shirt term capital gains. Since I haven’t received the IRS mailed copy of the issues I can only assume this is where they are challenging my tax submittal. I cannot correctly assess this years tax software. Once I get this issue resolved I can do a better assessment. Up to this point I have been very satisfied with using H&R Tax Software.

For several years now I have purchased and use H&R Block Deluxe software to do my State and Federal taxes. The software is very easy to use and correctly files the tax returns via the Internet. The returns status is clearly stated and updated. Each return is also easily printed for my records. I will continue to use the software.

Federal Software could use more context and help with Crypto. State of Michigan software is weak on assistance. For some reason the tax file will not save in my prefered directory. I have to leave it in download directory. Interesting as I can print using the built in pdf without any issues. Not sure whats stopping it.
