Simple tool for taxes, but still just a program

Had an issue with something I put in and then had to remove. After deleting it from the interface, it was still on the forms. It took a couple passes to get it off and clear the error
Pros: Easy to prepare

I have used this tax product since its original inception in 1991-92 with considerable success and convenience every year. My only criticism of the current version (2024) is that I would have preferred that the offer to have my return checked over and filed by an HRBlock advisor was made known before I finished my returns and had filed them

Instructions were poor. There were several places I had alerts but they were never explained why they were being flagged. There were also several instances where the software said other forms might need to be completed but forms and instructions were not part of the software. Why did I buy your software if you are not going to include everything.
This is first year I have used H&R software after using Turbo Tax for many years. If Turbo Tax works out their distribution issues I will be returning to them next year.
Also, tried using chat to resolve some of these issues only to be told they couldn't help and I needed to see a tax professional. I thought that is what these people were?????
