We have used H&R Block tax software for decades and it represents a reasonable value for the money. We did have a problem with how to handle a 1099-S Timber Sale form and I hope that the way I was allowed to enter it does not cause problems.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

TAX CUT did not offer the desired explanations for verification errors. Had to go to IRS website for instructions on the required corrections.

Simple walk through. Handles most forms. The ev charger installer credit form was not included. Transfer and tracking are good. Not providing historical installers is not great but can work around it. Why not just provide 7 years of installers just like our tax records? Support was good when I called about access to the ev form.

Okay, somewhat lackluster. Didn't include ability to plan my estimated tax payments. Wasn't able to import my brokerage statements. This program was better in the past, but the price this year beat competitors' prices and it got the job done.
One thing we need these days is guidance on how to handle small hobby business gains, losses and expenses now that the rules about hobby income have changed.
Cons: Hard to import documents
