I have been using H&R Block tax software and its predecessor for, I think over 20 years. I have never had a complaint as to ease of use and accuracy. The filing has been easy for the Federal return, and I have just started a few years ago to file the State. Your support team is well versed in the operation of the app and has given explanations to clarify what the program was asking for if I did not understand.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I wish I could resize the work-area/dialog-box, as I can on manu other products.
Only hangup was installing updates to the tax software. May times the updater would ask a question, then a second questoipmn, then a third question, then restart with question #1. Usually restarting the computer resolved the problem.

After nearly 20 years of using HR block software I am seriously considering going to TurboTax next year. Two related issues. One, needed to fill in the form 8606 and when I did I found an amount of non deducted IRA basis listed. Since I always want to understand how figures are calculate I used the find related pop up to see if I could follow. The software did not show me and I assume that because I had used for such a long time it carried forward that info from past returns. UNFORTUNATELY the help desk when contacted (getting to the right person took multiple phone calls and nearly 2 hours) that person could not explain but suggested I delete the figure to "see what happens". Two, once deleted and "BEFORE I SAVED THE FILE" the system saved on its own to include the deleted figure. As a result I had to "START OVER" on a nearly complete return.
Cons: Time consuming

I have been using this product for years and it never disappoints. Last year I had to start using an IP PIN. It would be good if checking for this was part of the accuracy review.
