Compared to paying a professional CPA for taxes that aren't super complicated (just a bunch of 1099s and W2s with a few deductions), this product is worth its value. You can even deduct the cost of the product itself on your taxes. You can import your 1099s directly from your financial provider or you can enter the info yourself (i.e. enter box 1 here, box 2 here, etc).
The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is some of the questions were a little difficult to answer and tell what they were. What's good is that they tell if something is relatively common or not, but they don't really give reasons behind why you'd take a certain adjustment. It would be nice if the software gave examples on each credit or adjustment so you could see if it applies to you or not.
It's a great piece of software and easy to use, but you need to be a little bit financially literate and know what certain things mean in order to make sure you do it correctly.

Cons: Time consuming

Federal Ok but state has a major problem. If I file federal as a joint return it will not let me file my Kentucky form as "separately on the same form". I reported this problem last year and I was told they would fix it. This year the same thing happened and I could not find any one who could fix the problem
