Software error which prevented automatic import of 1099 information from Merrill Lynch was a headache. Key reason for using the software is automated data entry via external sources. When not available, software is significantly less useful. Problem was eventually fixed, but not until mid-March, after manual entry had been completed and taxes filed. Time consumed completing taxes easily doubled because of lack of automated import.

I've been using H&R for many. many years now. Each year it gets more complicated, harder to load and install and costs more. Why do I keep using it?? Because it's better than the competetion.
