I've been using H&R Block tax software for years. I just finished my taxes for 2024 and loved how easy it was to use, including downloading 1099-R, 1099-DIV, and 1099-INT from my financial institutions. I especially appreciated the guidance given by the software when I was answering the confusing questions in Form 5695, Residential Energy Credits. I had answered one question incorrectly, and the software immediately found my error and showed me how to change it to the proper answer. E-Filing both the federal and state forms was super easy too.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
