Have used H&R for many years. But this year I was getting errors that I could not clear. For example: I am of retirement age, but not receiving SS. Kept getting an error because I did not put an amount for SS. Even when I put 0, it still kept popping up as an error. There were others that did not apply to me, some I was able to clear, others I couldn't. Sent the form anyhow, and hoping for the best.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easier than turbo tax.But some things were a bit problematic. I had to redo my tax five times to get it right. At one point my refund was over 300000 and that was not right.

A great improvement from last year's software!

H&R Block's competitor still has the best step-by-step instructions but is much too expensive. However, H&R Block has made great strides in improving their Deluxe Federal and State 2024 program.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Easy to use software, only problem I had was the state program would not download. The good news is the H&R Block help desk was fast on answering the phone and they helped me download the program.
