Product on automatic purchase. Having used a number of free and HRB, I can honestly say the free versions on IRS.gov are just as good if not better than HRB.

Cons: Hard to prepare

The HRB Tax Software is very easy to use. Importing the previous years information contributes significantly to this ease of use. There is one piece of information that the software interview seems to miss that the Accuracy Review at the end catches. The Interview does not ask me for a total value of all combined IRA accounts. The Accuracy Review flags this as an audit concern, so I go back and add the amount in Form 8606, Line 5. Can HRB explain why the Interview is not asking for this piece of information?
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
