The software is good. I just think that when you purchase the version that includes the state tax it should not cost you extra money to file your taxes.

I have been using this for years. It has been able to handle all the different tax issues I have had to deal with. (rental properties, businesses, sale of properties, investments, etc.). I had a hard time giving it 5 stars, but I think am mixing my feelings about tax prep and the program. There have been times when I have needed to do some research because the program did not include specific information I needed

This program was of little use to me. I tried importing my 1099's from Charles Schwab and it would time out. I was told threre was a limitation to the amount of transactions it could import. To me there was a lack of transparency, since it is not listed in the mailing i was sent. I have used this program for many years in the past without issues. but it seems this issue could not be solved.
