I made 100% non cash contributions and the software converts it to a partial interest non cash contribution and the IRS keeps rejecting it HRB says to delete form and software will not allow it to be deleted
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, this is the best tax prep software I've used. Relatively easy to use and intutive. I especially like that my return is stored on MY laptop, not in the "cloud" or some other server -- who knows who has access to these? Don't like the upcharge for efiling my state return though.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

The product needs to work with older pcs that have older versions of windows. It will run but skips over many steps
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Hi, thank you for leaving a review! We're happy to hear that you had a great experience. Your satisfaction is our goal, and we're grateful for your business. Thank you for your valuable feedback, and we look forward to serving you again in the future!
Filed "Married Filing Separately" last year (penalty at federal level more than offset by benefit at state level). The penalty/benefit was mostly a wash this year, so I decided to go ahead and file "Married Filing Jointly" this year. Using AGI as a way of verifying identity for the purposes of electronic filing does not work in this case. The software assumes the combined AGI from prior year is the desired amount (makes sense to me) and enters it as the default, but the IRS still rejects the return because the combined AGI does not match anything they received last year in either of our "Separate" returns. Attempted twice to re-submit my Joint Return with last year's "Separate" AGI's (mine, and then my spouse's), to no avail. Your instructions initially directed me to enter my spouse's AGI accurately ... but there is no place in the software to accomplish that (i.e., there is only one place to enter AGI, and it is non-specific about which AGI to enter ... mine, my spouse's, or the mathematical combination of the two). Apparently the only alternative is to print/file on paper. This product has been available for decades, and I do not believe this is a corner case. Do better, H&R Block. Either work with the IRS to devise a solution for those in this situation, or if it already exists, make that solution clearer in the instructions/rejection report.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
