The product works reasonably well. I have on big complaint. While going through the tax preparation I often time have the need to print a screen (summary info, important info etc.) from the H&R Block software. There is no functionality to do this. Very disappointing.
Pros: Easy to prepare

We' have used the software for years.. We like the prepopulated information that carries over from the previous year. This year we were unable to file electronically although we tried for days. The problem was defined as two-fold, but only one was supposedly needed. Our 2024 AGI was not accepted and the pins my husband and I we were asked to crate were not accepted. We tried a new pins, older pins and last year's pins. We ended up writing checks for both federal and state and mailing them and the returns certified.

As usual, even though I bought the deluxe software, IT DID NOT INCLUDE THE STATE RETURN. As usual, I had to go through hoops to get a link to the state edition.
As usual, when an update to the federal edition was available, it would "download," but not install. It would go into a loop multiple times, requiring me to reboot my computer and find a workaround.
This is not professional programming, and this is a very, very poor product. Next year I'm am switching to Turbo Tax. Goodbye.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pro- I was able to submit. Cons- everything else. Working with this software was an almost entirely negative experience. I have no confidence that it is actually correct. It refused to carry forward updated numbers when I made corrections, offered no guidance whatsoever in parts, and generally did nothing to inspire confidence. I will not be using this product again.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
