We've been using H&R Block since the early 1990's when it was Andrew Tobias's TAX CUT. Always been easy to use and input our info. We're not even tempted to go to a "Tax Guy" even though we do have a few moving parts to handle. Always accurate along with easy to use for both federal and state.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Been using Block for several years and find it works well. This year I could not capture the info from Morgan Stanley and had to enter the data manually. Don't know if the problem was with you or MS. Data from Fidelity worked fine.

Got my taxes, which are moderately complicated, done quickly in a couple of hours with this product. It helps to be familiar with the program, but the program does a good job of walking you through the process.

Overall the tax software is very good. It's easy to use and covers the functionality that I need. Only shortfall is that when I want to go to a specific page or form I can't do it. Instead it directs you to the general category i.e. Income, Deductions, etc. .
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
