Initially almost impossible to download updates. However, corrected at a later date. Difficult to calculate 1040-X. I finally Manually determined the correct amount. Why cannot the help aids be printed? I am a longtime user of Block but am thinking of switching to another software package.

I do have 3 suggestions to make your product more user friendly:
1) When I open an existing return I can not save it under the same name. I am forced to rename so now my final filing is saved under the 4th name or 4th iteration.
2) For indicating that a Roth withdrawal has a QCD portion, your software should ask a question about the amount if any of this withdrawal is attributable to QCD (Qualified Charitable Distribution).
3) I finally found where we enter any deposits made on file to the IRS for the current year but it did not come up in your questionnaire until towards the end which gave me a lot of anxiety. Please have it earlier where we enter our income or at least the 1099 areas.

I've been using this program since the 90s, before it was even owned by H&R Block. It's always suited my needs, and has never given me a reason to try out other software. Downloading and installing the software is very fast, and easy. Updating the software is fast and easy too. I like that I can use a mixture of interview and select form entry.
