I have purchased H&R Block Tax Software for many years not and am generally happy with it. But there is one feature that needs to be added. I import data from Fidelity, and one managed account has a lot of short and long term stock transactions reported under the 1099-B. This year there were 691 of them! It took me 4 hours of clicking and scrolling to "verify" each entry. There needs to be a way to "verify" them as a group.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

The software wouldn't let me e-file the state. I had to print it and mail it via snail mail. Updates gave me an error message every time I tried to update. The help desk couldn't solve the problem.
