I always get a substantial refund, and I've been using it for years now. The tools for charitable donations to thrift stores is worth the price of the program alone. As long as you keep good records throughout the year, this program makes it easy and accurate.

I've used HRBlick for many years. The interview method is easy to use to navigate ans to understand. Being able to upload last year's returns is a great time-saving feature. Completing the Stste return is nearly automatic and easy. The efile process is easy amd quick, resulting in.much faster refunds than fil8ng by USPS. I couldn't be happier with HRBlock. I get my returns done in no time.

I appreciated the helpfulness of the interviews in helping complete more complex tax returns. What I didn't like was the state portion of the software: 1) The lack of clarity around how it handled the Colorado Tabor Refund, and 2) Not mentioning anywhere that purchasing the state return did not include eFiling, so having to pay extra for that step. I won't be buying the state add-on in the future.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents
