I've been using H&R software for some time now and overall very pleased with it. I did however run into a problem this year with the State software where it did not ask me about specific tax credits. I could not find it in the help section. I had to go to other outside sources to find the answer. And although I was able to insert my tax credit info directly into the "form" for my state via the H&R software I was disappointed that it wasn't in the interview process or help section.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

This year there wasn't a final checklist for the Federal Tax, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I depend on the checklist to guide me in arranging the materials for mailing after I have e-filed, and to tell me which IRS office to send them to. This is the 4th year I have used the H & R Block software and there has always had been a checklist. I couldn't locate one and was not successful using the chat service. However, after e-filing my Minnesota Tax there was a checklist advising me how to arrange the materials and where to mail them. It was confusing why there wasn't one for the Federal tax portion.
Other than the above issue, I find your program very easy to follow and I like it. The Minnesota portion was improved this year because it included the Homestead Credit Refund form inside the Minnesota Tax form, which made it easy and much simpler to file for the Homestead Credit refund.
