Happy so far with it, but missing 1040ES vouchers.

Very happy overall with 2024 Deluxe. The main thing that really upsets me is the fact that in 2023 when you finished your return, the software allowed you to create your 1040-ES vouchers in pdf format. I did not get this option in the 2024 Deluxe version. Very simple and helpful feature, why not leave it there. If you did not want this feature, it is no problem not to use it. These simple features should be left alone and not taken away.

Excellent software and support. Problems with code

I liked the software. However, when I missed the first chance to file my state return electronically, there was no way to go back and do that without paying a second time to have the federal taxes filed. I did not want to do that. The help line spent a lot of time on this trying to help me and I really appreciate it. Your platform need some correction coding. Also, the field where you sign into your bank to import accounts needs to accomodate more characters. We are using longer passwords these days, and this kept me from being able to import.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to import documents

H&R Block Deluxe may delete the tax file unexpect.

It is easy to use in general except there is a major bug that may deleted the tax file unexpectedly.
I set the tax file write protect when I was done with the work, then I updated the software later. At the end of the update, it attempted to save the unchanged tax file back but failed because the file was write-protected. However, the tax file was deleted by the software unexpectedly, and I need to start over the work again.
