The software was fine. I am disappointed that you don't include the property tax credit for the state return. Also not happy that I have to pay a fee to electronically file the state return. These items should be included in the software.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I have used Tax Cut for about 15 years. It is easy enough to use. The one issue I had this time was with casualty losses. I selected the safe harbor option and the system didn’t tell me then that I would have to mail the return in instead of using electronic filing. It wasn’t until I got to the very end that it told me that I had to mail the return in. This is important because there is no telling how long it would take to get a refund due to the diminished IRS staff.
Pros: Easy to prepare

The federal return was easy and quick. However, the state return has an error that I can’t seem to correct. Tried getting help from Block, but couldn’t get through. Debating if I need to file the state return independently from H&R.
