I think there is an error in the calculations regarding Income Subtractions. The HRB software does not agree with the DRS calculator.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

1099-B FreeTaxUSA does it better for grouping report, it supports Box A to E input as reported by institution, it also asks for wash-sale amount.

Help turn out to be more of a marketing feature than anything useful. Didn’t carry a very simple state form so I had to let PA calculate if I have an underpayment penalty in order to be allowed to pay you to efile state.

I've used H&R Block Deluxe software for many years and I have always been very satisfied with the product. It's very easy to use and the program walks you through each category. After finishing the return I e-filed the return and was notified within minutes that it was accepted by the IRS. The refund was deposited into my checking account in two business days since I did a direct deposit.

I have been using H&R Block for a lot of years. Over the years, the software has worked well. However, this year I really should speak to someone about my federal and State of Vermont filing but I don't know how to contact a person, rather than a series of recorded messages. I found that I overlooked a 1099 related to the sale of stock which was at a loss. I also realized that the State of Vermont refund was unusually large. Can you set me in contact with someone to help me. I have already filed both returns and they were accepted.
Cons: Time consuming
