Does the job, but some sections are 'clumsy' to fill in, such as request to waive penalty for taxes owed. An interview section to be used, so that the correct entries in the correct tax form is filled in.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Have used for years, and always find the section dealing with royalties confusing. This year, I simply deleted all the royalty information (from oil and book sourcs) and started over. The rest of the program seems to work fine.

All was well, except the fact that its almost impossible to download your tax return. I don't like that feature because the software is designed, as if everyone has a printer. This feature needs to be corrected immediately.

I took an early withdrawal from my IRA & paid the 10% penalty upfront through my broker. On the software there is no where to select that you already paid the 10% penalty so it automatically adds this to your tax bill. I contacted the help desk & they don't have an accountant working & were unable to help. They told me to call the IRS about it-just awful.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
