I have been using H&R Block for over 20 years, that should say enough. I have not used the state for several years and feel it could be a little more helpful. I am awaiting a K-1 from a failed business. I cannot file federal but the business is out of state and will not matter. Block will not allow me to file state and no reason is given

Cons: Time consuming

Software works but update process doesn't on Macs

Been using this product for years. My biggest beef is with your update process. I use a Mac and when I go to install state editions and or software updates to federal/state editions then update doesn't work. It looks like it downloads but just keeps cycling back to the update screen. For the last 2 years I've had to go onthe support chat and ask them to send me the links to the state editions so I could manually download and install them

I have been using your software to do my taxes for at least 10 years and have been very pleased. I used to do my taxes manually but if I forgot something I had to recalculate everything. The prompts are usually easy to understand and inputting from last year's taxes is a real plus.

Been using hrblock sw for years. Continuing to do so because of familiarity but see diminished quality. Especially applying updates, best to restart macOS before doing updates, else they seem to fail. Very annoying when you’re trying to file the return. OTOH calculation of my returns have always been accepted by Uncle.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
