This tax program is easy to follow and pretty good overall. The five free filings is great! There is an improvement that I would like to see, however. Many of us already know that we don't have enough deductions to file long form. For most Americans, with the exception of small business owners, that is going to be the case. Please make an option early on to file with standard deduction to save a person from going through all those questions and looking up information pertaining to long form to enter into the system, when they are not even going to qualify. You could have a button that says file using standard deduction and then give a box with info like you do on other topics in the program, that tell people that unless they make over whatever the standard deduction is at the time, or are small business owners that they will likely be standard deduction. For most people, they go through there and answer all those questions, dig out receipts and medical records and all kinds of stuff and it is all for nothing. I know now from using it so many times what to watch for and skip through those questions, but for people that are not aware, it is very frustrating and would be so simple to just give people the option to pick their filing choice right off the bat. Quick and easy. Just like picking single, married, head of household, quick and easy.

When Intuit made a stupid decision years back, I switched to HR Block and never decided to go back. HR Block software works for me. I like the way IRS approved my filings within 15 minutes of submission. And HR Block lets you know the progess of your taxes.

Have used Block for a # of years Works. However, It was a bear to download. Tried on my new windows 11 computer and it would not work.. After 5 tries, I went back to my older, windows 10 and it did download. Ok after that.
Cons: Hard to import documents
