Except for 1 item, this rating would be a 5 star rating. When I pay for the Deluxe version (Federal and State), I expect all of the state forms to be included so I could file electronically with all the forms. That did not happen. Everything else was wonderful. Easy to use. Worth the money.

Can’t print my return this year and this is the first time I have issue with the software . I have been using HR tax software over 15 years . Everything else is good no complaints.

The product has more bugs than it used to. The audit found 6 or 7 empty data fields that should have been filled by the program from information entered. I had to enter the data directly into the forms to satisfy the audit. One of the data items was specific to itemizing which I wasn’t doing.

I felt deceived when towards the very end you suddenly asked for additional money to e-file the state return. After all, you advertise that one state is included. And do not even come back with somewhere there is fine-print stating e-filing costs an additional amount.

Long time user of Block after a few years with Turbo Tax. Overall, I'm happy with the program. I do find the 1099-misc cumbersome for entering multiple royalties. I spend more time getting the program to do what I need in that area than the rest of the entry forms. Fyi, I am certified IRS volunteer preparer at Life Sr. Services here in Tulsa and we use Tax Slayer Plus. I can't use it for my personal taxes but wish Block was as easy to use as that program.
