I've used the program for many years and am generally pleased with the results. However, I am disappointed in the instructions for K-1's. In particular, the instructions for code Z are inadequate. Please, make the necessary improvements.

Program picks up lots of info from previous year. Only complaint is the charge to e-file my state return.

We purchased the deluxe version that contains the state software. Then we had to pay more to submit our state return electronically. Everything is moving to electronic submission. Sounds like you don’t value your customers. Just keep charging them miscellaneous fees, until they leave.

Purchased on sale at the start of the year, and the software is fine. The interview process is very straightforward and it's easy to put all the info from my forms in. Two downsides in my book: the state e-file fee is kind of high, but I just pay it for convenience, and the updates don't tell you what has been fixed/updated (patch notes could be nice). One quality of life thing that should be added: if you set a date for taxes to be withdrawn from a checking account, include the date on the "check status" page.
