I've been using Turbo tax for a long time. This is the first time I use your program. The federal part is not bad. Since I uploaded my last year's return, I wish there is table to compare this year and last year's numbers so I plan for the next year.
There are problems with Michigan state return. It should include all the city taxes. Flint city return is not in the Michigan return! I have to manually do it by myself!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

This year I switched from Premium to Deluxe. When all my 2023 data were transferred to the Deluxe, it was a complete mess. The stupid software kept telling me to fix mistakes on forms I did not need to use this year I had to redo everything from scratch. Once I did that, Deluxe was fantastic without interference from the previous year's Premium. When I did not check the box for having a business, the software should have deleted all forms related to business. It did not. I tried to delete the forms but it would not permit me to do so. It let me know where the must-fix boxes were, but it would not allow me to fix them.

Cons: Time consuming

Terrible. I kept getting a message telling me to install a software update, over and over again. The software would not let me transmit my returns. Finally, about an hour to trying, it displayed a message saying there was not enough room on my computer to install the update.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
