I have used H&R Block Tax software for over a decade and have always been satisfied with the application features and the easy importation of last year's data. There should be one free state e-file however.

I've used it for several years and overall I'm happy with it. If your return is uncomplicated, it gets you through it fairly quickly. If you have anything with any complications, not quitenso good. It gave me what I consider conflicting advice in two separate sections this year on the subject of tax on inheritance and K-1s. Won't go into details, but it also could have been clearer with instructions on a couple of issues. I will likely continue to use it in the future as long as I have no complicated issues to deal with. Definitely cheaper than paying 100s of $ for in-person tax prep

I would have switched products if I wasn't concerned about continuity. I find the instructions too vague at times. I understand the need to be concise but I think you err on the side of too little in way of explaining the steps.
