This seems to do okay for federal taxes but is wholly inadequate for state taxes. At a minimum it should allow you to easily compare different methods of filing state taxes. If you choose to file married on separate forms it should allow that and allow you to view and file both sets. If you have to file in two states it should facilitate that.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
