Would be real happy but I never seem to get the one free State e-file I am always getting charged. I think that is false on the cover.

I've used H and R block Deluxe for years never had any problems except for last year's debacle on the 15th But this year's program I imported my information And everything was right but then when I tried to file The IRS kept rejecting It For wrong numbers in social security fields into others also added zeros to amounts that I already input Took me 5 tries and corrections to finally get my 1040 accepted Problems with program ?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Took too long to get through and had to pay more money.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

I have been using H&R Block tax software for years and have been very satisfied. This year, there is an expiration date on my ability to download the software. What if I need to amend my tax return? I paid for this download key and should be able to use it for the full period that the tax return is open. I will be checking out TurboTax next year to see if they have the same terms.

State eFile not included

This year I bought the Deluxe + State version thinking that it would make things easier. Little did I know that free PA state eFile was not included & an extra charge was required to eFile state return. Had I known that I would have filed on PA tax web site which is free. I ended up filing by paper as I was not going to spend the extra money.Program is good. Just don't spring for the state version as it will cost you to eFile. Going back to just Deluxe next year.
