Why was it harder this time?

We had the same things to report this time as last year. Nothing changed for us. Same job, same house, basically same deductions. But this year there were some errors on the error report and it was difficult to figure out how to fix them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

there seem to be a bug in the system. I was stuck with getting out of the system. I had simple taxes and it kept telling me that I needed to take care of an issue when I did not think I needed to. it finally took the issue.

Product is easier to use. The questionnaire makes things easy. You're allowed to review the tax forms if you'd like you process your own return. I got my state and federal refund within 10 days using the transmittal provided

Type size of the font isf ar too small, especially for your older users.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I've bought and used this tax software before it was even known as H&R Block - I'd say '87 or '88, and I keep coming back to it. Very easy to use - I remember years when I did my taxes on the last possible day. Never had a problem.

So the state wasn't free after all! And the state installation took five hours due to installation program kept crashing the system.
Cons: Time consuming
