Most info inputs easily, some items associated with investment income and IRA's are not explained clearly and are more time consuming to figure out. The worst thing about the software is that when I was e-filing at the very end , it had to do an update first, and the amounts I had entered for the state to refund and keep for next year, which I assumed should not be affected without telling me, were changed, and since I needed to get done with e-filing I did not recheck amounts (lesson learned) and the refund amount changed drastically without my knowledge. This is a serious mistake in my book, so I may use someone else next year.

Since I normally do not complete my taxes until after the new year, I was shocked to see that your offer to reduce the cost by 50% was temporary and had expired when I went to purchase my software. I called and was told I would be reimbursed 50% because the promo was actually still valid. I have yet to receive any refund.

I bought this to help with taxes. I did perform the basic functions after I slogged my way through installation and updates. I had to back up a number of times to re-enter data that wasn’t obvious to enter as I progressed through the interview. In addition, it is tedious and confusing to have to “branch out” to fill out the actual form, and then “Close Form”. And re-entering the same information multiple times was irritating. The user interface was inconsistent and confusing.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
