I initially got both programs, TaxCut and TurboTax, and compared them.
H&R Block was the clear winner in my opinion.

Good for Fed as you can efile, but bad for CA. It won't allow me to efile because of installment sale withholding; now I have to print and mail my return. If there was a way to efile my CA return, this would be a perfect app.
